20 Months

My baby is 20 months (give or take a few days/weeks).  Spoiler alert:  He is not a baby anymore!  I can't believe how much he has grown and changed just over the last few months.
  • He loves to run.  Like everywhere.  He never stops.  It's exhausting!
  • He is such a busy and curious boy.  He's always into something
  • He has started talking so much more the last few months.  He can ask for water and say please.  He can identify most of his toys and he tries to repeat most of the things I say to him.   and he loooooves to tell people bye.  It's pretty cute.
  • He is so big!  He's starting to outgrow 2T/24 mo shirts already.
  • He always wants to wear shoes.  At the moment he's on his high tops, who knows about next week.
  • Loves to eat, but even more than that he loves to feed tag.
  • He's like a little monkey.  If he sees something taller than him he will most definitely climb on it
  • Loves his brother.  He tries to help me bathe him, dress him, and carry him to the car
  • He is obsessed with golf.  He has a little plastic golf set he plays with around the house.  If for some reason he can't find it, he golfs with whatever's available.  The other day I caught him golfing with a crayon.  In fact as I type this he's golfing a basketball with a colander.
  • Speaking of crayons, he loves to draw and color.  And about 85% of the time its on paper, so bonus!

Some of Ty's favorite things....
Playing on the couch cushions

Dressing himself....he sometimes has some interesting choices

Just thought this was adorable

Screaming for no apparent reason

Playing with his trucks (it is impossible to take a candid photo of this kid, as soon as he hears the camera he stops what he's doing to smile.  I have to be more sneaky)

Sitting on the end table

Throwing a fit

Making a mess.  I cleaned this room for the express purposes of these pics not 5 minutes before Ty had done this to it

Pushing his shopping cart (or anything really)

Helping with laundry and playing with balls.

The climbing we previously discussed

Opening all the drawers and cupboards in the kitchen just to watch me close them

Putting his shoes on

Smiling at mommy

Ridin his firetruck

Bugging tag

Running

Usually away from me

Climbing on the chairs.....still have not come up with a solution for this one

Brushing his teeth

Dancing

Eating

Hanging with dad and brother

Playing with daddy (he is so much more fun than me!)

Riding his dino (one of the best purchases ever!  That has stayed fun for a long time)

Sitting at the table

Looking at the school bus

This is the first time he's ever done this, but it was cute.  He's making his tiny dinosaurs kiss.  haha!

Love him tons and tons and tons!
