Ty's Party

My baby is 2!!  I'm gonna need a few weeks to believe that one.......we taught him how to say he's 2 and it's soooo cute.  Anyway....we had a party and it was awesome!  The theme was sports since Ty is into pretty much any kind of sports and balls.  I had so many ideas (pinterest is the devil!) and had a hard time not using all of them.  Luckily grandma came over to help us get ready and we pulled it off.  Here's some pictures from the big day.

Instead of goody bags, we did "sports" accessories for the kids to wear at the party.  The first thing the kids did was decorate these foam visors with markers and stickers and pick out a sweat band

The spread was supposed to be "ball park" food.  We had hot dogs, nachos, pretzel bites, and kettle corn.

The thing I obsessed the most over was the cupcakes.  Kev has seriously been sampling different cupcakes for at least a month.  He was not complaining.  These ones are golf balls.  They were coconut cupcakes with a coconut cream filling and whipped cream frosting

Here's the basketballs--carrot cake with white chocolate cream cheese frosting

And the footballs--oreo cupcakes with chocolate buttercream frosting

The sad state of my decorations (I spent way too much energy on the food)

One activity we set up was golfing down the hallway.  Here Blake, Gavin, Ty, and Bella are demonstrating how awesome it was.

Ty getting sang Happy Birthday

Eli decided to show Ty how to blow out the candles

So Kev relit them and had Ty give em a blow

Look at that little cutie

He loved his cupcake!

I didn't have a table to eat at, and the kids were so good and not messy at all.  Here's a bunch of them sitting on the floor eating their cupcakes

We love Halle and Mya

Eli was the king of the football throw

The best part of the whole party was how much fun Ty was having

Grandma and Jack.  He was so good and just got passed around but hardly stopped smiling

Ty digging into his presents.  This is pretty much the only one he opened by himself because the other kids swooped right in

He was so excited and moving so fast all the pics turned out blurry

He still remembered the drill from Christmas and he couldn't even take the time to get the presents off his lap before he started another one

That diego color book is erasable....Sweet

Granmda, Grandpa, and Jack.  Poor guy has been so sick!

The kids wanted to play with all the new presents.  These puzzles were quite the hit.  Also that giant golf club in the background I never got a good picture of.  It's awesome.  Kevin and Jesse are already planning to take it outside and see how far they can hit it.

Winston, Ty, and Eli

My little player.....Watch out Tom Brady!

This was the day after, but Ty was being so sweet and showing Jack how to do his puzzles.  It was so cute.

He also enjoyed the soccer ball sucker

Love my boys.  Happy Birthday Nugget Face!!
