Best Week Ever

Last week Nonna and Krissy came down and hung out with us for almost a week!  We loved it, and got to go to story time at the library, the indoor pool, a petting zoo, IKEA, and the mall just to name a few.  It was a busy week, and waaaay more fun than what we usually do.  Ty is still trying to recover from the excitement back to our usual days of boredom.  We were so excited they came and can't wait to play again.  Here's some pictures from their trip (and a few from before, because I am the biggest blog slacker ever!)

Ty's favorite playmate is Eli, and last week he learned that running with the big dogs can be a bit hazardous
He was smiling like 5 seconds later though; he was prolly showing off for Eli

Ty "helping" with the dishes.  Clearly I use the word helping incredibly lightly

Swimming at the indoor pool. I love having an albino baby because he makes me actually look slightly tan.
Ty loved it.  He had his picture taken so much this week that he adopted this cheesy grin whenever he sees a camera or anyone tells him to smile.  It's my favorite new party trick!

He got a little too comfortable and took off while the Nonner was taking this picture.  In his defense she was very slow with the camera :)
His favorite part of the pool.  He would sit there and play with those fountains while Kristen swam off, then when she got close again he would get so excited.  Pretty much the cutest thing ever.
At the IKEA.  He wanted to push the cart and it was so cute so we stopped to take a picture and some rude lady walks past us and goes "I didn't know the IKEA was such a big picture opportunity" or something equally rude.

I think Ty's favorite activity of the whole week was the Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point.  We even convinced Kev to play hookie and come with us!
We had to fight with him every time we wanted to move to the next animal
The horses and cows were his favorite
Right here he's trying to get in the pen

He loved the animals so much he could not be bothered to look at the camera

Our little family enjoying the animals (sidenote:  I did NOT enjoy the smell.  Animals are stinky!)
He wanted to touch all the animals
This is the only on that would let him get close
He was feeding the sheep, and laughed so hard when he licked his hand
Friday Nonna and Krissy left, and to try and cheer ourselves up we played outside

Ty kept going to the sidewalk and taking off though

So we were relegated back to the deck

  1. I miss our week of fun!! I'm proud of us for only shopping like 1.5 of the days and the fact that NO returns were made. Kev didn't even give us any props for that feat. Nonna was incredibly slow on the camera. I will second that! I miss that cheesy grin! Half of the cute part was how quick he would strike the pose and pictures just don't show that :(...but they'll do for now. Love you guys!!
